The Journey Behind Pace Health & Fitness
My journey in health, movement, and resilience began in 1991, the same year I got married and stepped onto the mat at my first karate class. What started as family exercise quickly evolved into a lifelong discipline. I earned my First Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate in 1994 and went on to co-own two dojos in South Louisiana.
The following year, I began selling martial arts merchandise on eBay, which eventually led to full-time e-commerce and the creation of Graceworld—my first brand. Graceworld became a global store offering martial arts gear and swords, with customers from Canada to Hong Kong. I built it from the ground up through affiliate programs, online auctions, and relentless hustle.
In 2001, everything shifted. My daughter was born following a traumatic delivery that put life into a different perspective. A few years later, I moved to North Louisiana to rebuild—this time opening a storefront dojo alongside a full e-commerce relaunch. By 2007, I was a mother of two, still balancing training, coaching, and business.
In 2008, I began studying online psychology and behavior analysis. My interest in how people think, heal, and grow expanded my approach to wellness. After a few deeply personal life transitions, I refocused on my physical health in 2015—returning to strength training and rebuilding my body with intention.
In 2019, I relocated to Dallas and launched Pace Health & Fitness. As the world shifted with COVID, I earned my NASM-CPT certification and began working with clients both virtually and in-person at their private gyms.
By 2022, I chose to pause my business due to family matters. In 2024, I returned with a renewed mindset and a more focused, client-centered business model—recommitting to my mission of helping others move, heal, and thrive.
Today, Pace Health & Fitness is the evolution of that lifetime of learning. It brings together the mind-body-spirit work I’ve lived, taught, and walked through. Here, fitness isn’t just physical—it’s mental, emotional, and philosophical. It’s about movement that heals, power that doesn’t exploit, and wellness that meets you where you are.
